Don't get me wrong, I love my laptop, unfortunately, it has a smaller hard drive than I would like and I don't really have room to put too many more programs on, so I didn't load up my pic editing stuff. I would be lost without my laptop, just certain tasks it underperforms! Thanks again.

Just kidding! My Tpad came with 20gig, they sell it as a 'desktop replacement'. I bought a 48gig for it, gonna attempt to dual partition it- put W98SE and XP pro on it if IBM gets the bugs out of their XP drivers, LOL. I've got an external IBM ultrabay that I'm going to put the old 20gig into and maybe experiment with Linux.

20 gig!!! I can only dream of storage like that! I bought this laptop (a compaq) almost two years ago as a second to my desktop. I use it a lot when I am on the go and want to still have access to most of my stuff. However, back two years ago, 2 gig was about the extent of hard drives, so that is what I am stuck with. An upgrade may be in the works, or I may just buy a whole new laptop the way prices have come down recently. I've heard good things about Linux, never used it tho. Good luck John!
