Message: Alright i was wondering if anyone knows if by having a system in your truck you lose performance? i think a little is lost and i was also wondering how to get that back? anyone know? i still want the system but i want my truck to be quick too. thanks.

Message: If your talking about what i think you are.. you mean the weight from the stereo..
Yes if your stereo does weigh alot you are going to lose some performance..
but if you want it back do more upgrads to you enginne or do some weight reduction.

Message: no im not refering to the weigh im refering to the fact that the system makes the alternator work harder and drains more from the battery. so if anyone knows what i can do to fix this or help it. let me know .

Message: Unless your running 4 large amps and half a dozen 12" subs don't worry about it. The alternator and battery on our trucks can handle the load all day long with stress. Get yourself a couple of 1 farad capacitors, they weight about 1 pound and will help your battery and alternator handle the extra load of your system.
