For those of you who often ponder....What do the folks at SpeedTweaks look like? Well ponder no more!!! The guy on the left is Tom "Slick" and the fella on the right is Bernd! hehe though you can only see the top of Bernds head (for some reason all of the pics that I have with Bernd in them is the top of his head....hehe) But gaze upon the Holy Gods of SpeedTweaks...hehe

Do you have all of the other stuff that I need...the turtle, shift kit, and torque convertor?

I recently saw a post on a different board regarding the "turtle" for a M12b.

That post suggested the 2 barrel turtle was not in production and only about three had been made.

Are these readily avialable and do they improve the M1's performance?

Thanks

Bill

Dakaty: The turtle for the 4BBL has been in production for quite some time already. The 2BBL version...well, I only know of one person with one.

Kris: Turtle is on its way (finally) to us, the TQ converter is in transit to us, and the shift kit is already in stock.

He said on his website a good 60HP min. on the 2.02 R/T Ported Heads & a Comp 604 cam. I dunno what the specs on that cam are but what numbers do you think I'll get out of the Kammer Cam and these heads?

Keep in mind that i'm more on the conservative side keeping HP specs down a bit. With a comparable "Kammer" cam, about 50-60HP with the right head combination.

Well it says on their website a certain HP range can be achieved w/ proper tuning. How do I go about tuning it correctly so that it achieves optimum performance?

Mike: You need to pick the head and cam combo that matches - 1800-5000rpm, 2000-5500rpm, 2200-6000rpm, etc. This includes TQ Converter as well and gearing. Then, there's the intake manifold, throttle body, and headers/exhaust.
