Subject: Non-foglight bumper info needed IP: Logged
Message: Hey all,
My SXT has the front bumper with the foglights holes NOT punched/pressed/knocked out.
I would like to open these holes if possible without damaging the paint.
Has anyone attempted to this and if so what is the best way to go about it and with what cutting tools ???
Thanks

Message: I am not sure what you mean by what you said about the bumper. If yours is like my 2001 CC, then it has the parts in the bumper that look like a fog light goes there, but the plastic hasn't been cut, but you can kind of see where the hole should go. If that's how yours is, then it is probably a 4" hole like mine. I used a 4" hole saw on a drill and then cleaned up the edged with a Dremel with a sandpaper type attachment. I didn't really have to worry about paint since my bumper is just gray plastic. YOu can kind of see what mine look like on my website.
SOrry if this was confusing!

Message: I also have a 2002 SXT with those ugly cheap looking plastic wanna be fog light depresions. I also want to get fog lights installed and I'm wondering what brand is best? Anyone have any opinions? How good are the one Dodge sells?>

Message: I have a set of Pilot fogs. They are good and they really weren't expensive, less than $50 i believe (they were a gift). I have been very pleased with them so far.
