Probally not.
The RAM is getting the 5.7L, but I've heard that it won't work in the Dakota until they make some changes (and the new Generation Dakota was canceled).
More likely is well see the 5.9L RT go away, and maybe be replaced by a 4.7L High-output RT. Who knows, maybe a factory Supercharger, like the Lightnings have. That'd be kinda neat.
I predict we'll see the 3.7L in the Dakota soon, and the other engines being the 2.5L, 4.7L, and 4.7L HO in the RT.
Just my personal feelings, might be wrong. Seems logical to me though.

Yes hard to beat a inline 6 diesel for pulling power. It is going to be 305 hp next year.

I was surprised that the 3.7 didn't show up in Dakotas this year.

Yes but they were very limited. I still remember the add put out by truck trend mag. They tested out a 305 HP version with the same size motor (360) a very missed engine indeed.
