Subject: HOW DO I WIRE A MONO AMP TO A T-FORM IP: Logged
Message: I BOUGHT A SONY XM-1600(MONO AMP). IT HAS TWO SETS OF SPEAKER OUTS BUT THE T-FORM ONLY HAS ONE SET OF INPUTS. THE SONY MANUAL SAYS IF YOU ARE PUSHING 1 SUB TO WIRE IT TO THE LEFT OUTPUT, IF TWO SUBS, WIRE THEM SEPERATLY TO EACH OUTPUT. BUT WITH THE T-FORM I AM GOING TO PUSH TWO SUBS WITH ONE SPEAKER WIRE. THE SONY MANUAL SAYS NOTHING ABOUT BRIDGING THE TWO OUTPUTS. HOW DO I WIRE UP FOR THE MOST (AND SAFEST) POWER? CAN I BRIDGE THE TWO OUTPUTS WITHOUT DAMAGE TO THE AMP? I HOPE THIS IS NOT TO CONFUSING. THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME. I PUT THIS ON CUSTOM AUDIO ALSO BUT IT SEEMS MORE PEOPLE GO TO THE GENERAL BOARD.

Keep it in the audio section.
BTW- You can't bridge a mono amp, just hook - to - and + to +. If you have two speakers hook one up to each set of outputs on your amp. But in the case of the thunderform just use one set.
