Hey fellas,
Anyone know what's done during the 30K mile maintenance on our newer daks? I could call the dealer, but damn. ; ) Rather hear it from you guys. Oh, and what was the base warranty for a new dakota for 2000+? I bought the extended but want to get it in before I have to start paying the deductible.

Maintenace schedules and regular service is not covered by the warranty. Your probably looking at a $300.00 bill. All out of pocket.

Man, mine looks way too easy. Spark plugs and some fluids. Please, I can do the maintenance on the 4.7 in my sleep. Just do it yourself and tell the service dept that you would rather have the $300 in pocket. No offense CW, but you and I both know its an overcharge. You do the real stuff, not scheduled maintenance.

4.7L Schedule B 30,000:
1)oil
2)oil filter
3)Air Cleaner Element
4)Spark Plugs
5)Inspect PCV valve
(Tranny fluid changed every 12,000)
Schedule A:
Same as B except trany servive is performed at this time for the first time!

Thanks sandman. Exactly what I was lookin' for. I plan to take care of the maintenance myself.
Also, is it 3 years 36K for the base warranty? I have some warranty work that needs to be taken care of.
