Message: Does anyone know the weight differences between the 17" and 20" R/T wheels? How much heavier are the 20"?

Message: I wish Centerline would make some of their new syles for our pattern. They have some cool 17's, 18's, and 20's that only weigh 13 pounds each! I bet the stock R/T wheels weigh more then twice that much. There is maybe 80 pounds of rotating weight to be saved there, thats equal to 800 pounds in the bed!

Message: Ummm, I think he's got that backwards. At the Mopar Shootout Southwest race in Tucson there were a bunch of wheels and tires just laying around.... and also an accurate digital scale for weighing the race cars.
Sport 15" wheel with stock goodyear weighed 50 lbs
Stock RT 17" wheel with goodyear RSA weighed 62 lbs
Replica RT 20" wheel with Nittos weighed 72 lbs
I wish I would have weighed my Sport 15" rims with the ET streets on them.... my guess would be 38 to 40 lbs each.

Message: i thought it was odd that the 20's were lighter. i guess he made a typo when he told me the #'s
