Message: After a good long road trip I've decided that the driver's seat in my '01 Quad Cab (split bench)has to go. Anyone know of an aftermarket seat manufacturer that makes a mounting kit for the Quad Cab? Other solutions?
I put a bladder in for lower back support, but the shoulder support is still wrong and the butt pocket is shaped for someone much larger than myself (5'-10", 205 lbs, 34" waist). Lowering the rear of the seat would help in many ways but I can't think of a good way to do it.

I just finished looking for seats for my reg. cab Dakota and there are some good replacements out there. The only problem is the least expensive is around $450 each with brackets around $75 each.
Cerullo seats (http://www.cerullo.com/ ) have a good selection and their seats bolt up to Dakota brackets (not sure about quad cab though)
Another good online seat source is
http://sportscar-parts.com/seats.html Most of these seats look like they belong in a sport car, but there are a couple Corbeau's which might fit the bill. You can also check JC Whitney.
