I just took a ride with afriend in his 2000 dak for the first time since I have had mine. I forgot how much smaller the interior made the truck fill. Its sees like much less room than mine sure glad I got the new interior much nicer!!!!!!!!

Yup , but, you got an extra cat to help keep your times down and a much less efficient ventilation system. Better? Well , thats a matter of opinions , but I think I'll stick with the 2000,much warmer in the Winter , much cooler in the Summer! Plus,quicker,due to only one cat.But a Dak is a Dak , so who cares? We All rule over the others!!!!

In some ways I kinda like the old interior. Ken that restriction is on yours as well. Switch to a 3" and you will really know what you have been missing. Just ask Duner.

The 2000 have two cats? I thought only California daks had 2 cats,up until 2001 and then ALL daks had 2. I have only seen one on mine.

It isn't the number of cats that is the restriction, it is the main cat that is the culprit. Mine had three. :(

Seems to me the US trucks are a bit diffirent in regards to emmisions. Overall do what I did and get rid of the whole exaust system and go Gibson (no I do not work for them)! I seen a small increase in performance but not really much to write home about. It sounds sweet though. As for the ventilation I was wondering how others felt. My 2001 is rather finicky about heat and cold in cold weather. Finding a "zone" is a pain in the posi! I find that if the temp is not just so, I frost over and if too hot I boil! Oh well still the nicest truck on the market, and that covers all sized trucks.
