Message: This is a $12 shift knob, made by Radical Accessories. It is clear anodized aluminum part no. 720. I could not find stainless steel around here , and the ones on the web I found were VERY expensive. Does not look as good as I thought it would, but it gave me something to do for about 10 minutes.
Let me know what you think.

Message: Where do you shop for your toys MightyDakSXT? hehe. I bet you throw some great partys.I don't think I'll make it to any of them though.
I did think it was strange that lions Den sold gear shifter knobs. When the fat dude smoking the cigar behind the counter asked if I wanted some lube , I thought he ment gear oil of something. Glad I didn't say "yes" hehe.

Oh yea , my wife agrees with you, after it was mentioned , so I will be changing it. I tried cutting the love beads off,er uh, I mean the black plastic part off , now it just looks stupid, and I can't take it back. Oh well , I have another idea , so we will see how it goes!

Message: Hahaha, sorry that I pointed that out. =) I didn't mean to alter your preception of the shifter! The Hurst T-Shifter looks much better! Looks like you need to gve it a good cleaning though. I have one on my 5-speed and I used an old toothbrush to clean the aluminum dust around the lettering. I then took a black paint marker and touched it up. Looks much better now.

Message: That is actually Mothers aluminum polish. I was hoping to get it VERY bright. I have Cobra F1 pipes on my bike that came in brushed aluminun, after some rubbing with the Mother's , they came out looking like chrome! Didn't do that well on the shifter , as you can see.
By the way , my cousin , who did not see your post, said the same thing about the old shifter!! I HAD to get rid of it after that!! My Mother rides in there sometimes! Didn't want her looking sideways at me!!!!
Thats why I posted it...to get opinions. I can take it. I appreciate you honesty!!!

Message: Glad to hear you weren't insulted or anything. =) I'm never on short supply of opinions. I expect the same in return. Gotta love honesty. I'm not the type to purposely offend someone, but everyone interprets things differently. I expect that if someone doesn't like my opinion, they can ignore it. =)
