Is is safe to assume that if my ABS and brake light are remaining on and my speedometer is intermitent that my speed sensor in the diff. needs to be replaced?? Is this a common problem with 99's

Hey,
I had that problem on my 98. The speedo didn't work till about 30 mph and the abs light was always on. I replaced that speed sensor on the top of the diff. and the problem was cleared up. The part cost me about $40.00 from Dodge and was real easy to install.

yeah thats exactly what happens it kicks in at about 3500 rpm and then will just drop off, I've read this is an occurring problem, you would figure it would have been solved a long time ago!!
