 Subject: Removing A/C pulley

I have a 1993 dodge dakota v6 auto . The bearing in the electro-mechanical clutch on the end of the A/C compressor is making a lot of noise . I can get the nut off okay . I just wnat to make sure that all I do is pull it straight off .AFter unpluging first . I removed the belt and gave it a spin and it sounds rough . Of course when the a/c kicks in the noise goes away .
