My new 2002 quad cab did not come with underhood insulation. Older models had it. Is there a insulator for the RT that will fit or one with some kind of pattern? Part number?????

under hood insulation was discontinued last year along with the underhood light. Check with the parts counter at your dealer.

I installed the light, for a ttl of 25.00 parts, the insulator is 90.00 from the Dodge men. I said forget that, it is only needed for a fire retardant but oh well thats what Ins is for, and they get dirty.

What were the part numbers for the light? I have a 2001 QC with insulation but no underhood light. It ticks me off as I park in a dark spot and could use the light.
I assume you ordered parts for a pre-2001 Dak from the dealer parts counter. Where is the light mounted under the hood and where does it connect to the wiring harness?

my 2001 QC has no under hood insulation or light(but HAS Firewall insulation).
I read that the 2003s won't have headlights but could purchase 2002 headlights and retrofitted!

The 2003's won't come with engines either. DC is triing to save money and keep the price down also.
