Message: I am thinking about changing my T-Stat, on my 2002 3.9 dakota, does anyone know if it is a hard process? do I have to unscrew a lot of parts to get to the t-stat, etc. and will it make a big difference? please let me know, thanks!

Message: Jason- just folloe the black hose from yor radiator that goes doen into the engine. Unbolt the hose at the bottom (a little coolant will come out, no biggie) take out the old, put in the new. Make sure you scrape away the old gasket. As far as gains, not really but the engine (at least in mine) ran smoother. Hope this helps.
