Well......lucky me....while on the highway today somebody ahead of me in the lane to my right hit a flattened piece of exhaust on the road and sent it into my lane where I proceeded to run over it (it was either that or swerve into the next lane and maybe cause an accident) and of course it found and punctured my gas tank....GREAT!!!! I have 1080 miles on the truck and now it is at the dealer waiting to be fixed. Here's the best part...total cost of the tank, labor and tax is $575. Lucky me!

Check your road hazard insurance coverage, you might be able to get it replaced for just your deductable.

My deductable is $500.....why risk claiming it and raising my rates.....For real insurance gainst this type of thing,I think I'll check out some skid plates....
