 Subject: 4x2 front shock problem

i just balanced my tires at work the other day to get the wheel weights off the outside of the wheel and after i was done i poked around under the truck to check it out and noticed that there was a drop of liquid on the bottom of both front shocks i thought it might be water so i checked it out and it was SHOCK OIL at only 700 miles. is this normal or did i get a bad set? if i remember the warrenty is 12 months 12,000 so i should get both of them replaced for free correct? feedback please.
