Message: Go with the ultra flow welded, I have it and it is awesome. Same truck too, '02 4.7 cc 4x4. If you don't already have one, get a good open air intake too. Butt dyno showed good HP gains, and like I said, the sound is cool.

Message: Actually I'm building a homebrew as I type this. Just have to wait for the filter to come in. I think I will go with the Ultra Flo Welded. Any low end torque loss?

Message: Can anybody tell me about the Thrush glasspack mufflers? They are part of the Dynomax Company, right? And they seem to be made the same as the Dynomax UltraFlo Muffler except with less packing. I was wondering if anyone knew how they were rated as far how many cfm's these mufflers flow? With their straight thro design shouldn't they flow close or similiar numbers to UltraFlo or Race Welded Mufflers? They are not made like some glasspack mufflers that actually quite restrictive. I was told they flowed as good as any of the straight thro mufflers that Dynomax makes.

Message: I have already looked on their site for that info and it is not provided as well as the Thrush muffler site. I was thinking someone may have seen some data somewhere comparing various mufflers. I have seen one such comparison involving some Thrush mufflers, but not the glasspacks.
