Message: These so-called "lunchbox lockers" replace the spider and side gears in the differential. They are fairly easy to install. I would be skeptical of the durability. I think they would probably hold up alright to street use and moderate off road use, but i would prefer to use a sure-grip or actual locker differential for high horsepower or heavy off road use.

Message: I can't speak for the 9.25, but i put one in my 8.25 and it was pretty easy. The hardest part was resealing the rearend. The instructions are really good and they have good tech support. I called the in reference to one of the end test I had probloms with and they knew exactly what the problom was. I haven't had any probloms and I have beaten on it and it still seems fine. If I can answer any other question's just ask.

Message: The Lock right won't work in the 9.25 sure grip rear differential. If you have an open differential it will work fine. I am running the Powertrax No-slip right now.

Message: Hey HSKR how's that working for you? I'm planning on dropping the no-slip in next month, is it worth the $400.00?

Message: Works real good, but my factory limited slip was broken when I took it apart. I will be changing the differential cover today and will chekc to make sure everything is okay inside. It's kinda noisy, but works awsome.

Message: Did you notice a difference in driving when yuou changed it? I changed from and open rear and it was something completely new to get used too. How many miles do you have on it? Mine isn't loud at all and after about 75 miles it was broken in and makes almost no noise.

Message: Have well over 1000 miles on it since the install. Removed differential cover today to switch to chrome cover, and removed the Powertrax and reinstalled to make sure everything was okay. Found some more chunks from the old limited lsip that had broken. Don't knwo where they came from. Thought I had removed all the old peices. Reinstalled, and still noisy. Kinda sounds like a roller coaster as it climbs the first big hill. What gear oil are you using?? Might make a difference. I am using Mobile 1 synthetic gear il.
