Well, I finally bit the bullet. I ordered my new dak quad cab today. Got it at invoice less 2500 in rebates. Trading in my gen II. The dealer also said that if they don't meet the deadline on mine I get a 2003 at the same cost. A DC promotion right now.
got the 4.7 slt plus with pretty much everything except leather. Now comes the hard part....the 6 weeks of waiting :/

Those are some nice rebates!
My SLT plus took 5 weeks to the day when I ordered it back in Oct. Hopefully yours will be in even sooner.

James, your're right. And that's why I ordered a 2002. I would prolly rather have a 2003 but I knew the rebates won't be there like that at the beginning of a new model year....and I knew I didn't want to wait a whole 'nother year!
Yeah, I've been listening to that Tom Petty song......wayayting is the hardest part! lol

Mine took the expected 8 weeks, granted it had to cross the country. But I got the 0% intrest two days after the promotion started, salesman didn't expect a 23 year old to qualify :D
But it beats the 4 months (not including the 3 that he had to wait just to be able to place the order) that my dad had to wait for one of the rare '99 6 speed Rams. afaik, there's 2 in California.
