Message: How do you remove the gear linkage from an automatic 94.(The little wire cable that runs from the gauges down to the steering column and lets you know when your in P,R,N,D,2,1). It seems I just don't have enough slack. I thought about putting it in Drive and moving the needle back manually but wasn't sure if I should do that.
Any help would be appreciated
