Message: Shadow~ I also have a 96 "UFO", And your right, it is harder to find parts for 96 and older!!! I personally wanted more power, as you do... But mine only had a 3.9L V6. So I'm in the process of dropping a 5.9L V8 in. Your best bet is to go to Speedtweaks and see what they have.. Those guys are really helpful when it comes to Dakota Performance!! A 318 Should be rather easy to find parts for... now as for customizing: hoods, Ground effects, and the like... That's a whole different story all together! If you have any specific questions, E-mail me. I have a few good contacts I'll give you if you need them. Good Luck Buddy! "QuickRacing"

Message: OK, so mine's only a '92 but most mods are similar. Good advice already about Speedtweaks but if you want some fiberglass parts check out AAR at http://www.aarqualityfiberglass.com/
email me if you have specific questions.

Message: Ray, you and I have alot in common.
I have a 73 340 Challenger and I havent really touched it since I bought my Dak about 6 years ago.
Granted mines only a V6 and I havent done near the racing with it you have.
I dont know if youve seen it or not but Intense has a Gen 3 running 8.9 in the 1/8 with a V6?
I am lighter than him and I will have 4.10 limited slip via an 8 3/4 within a week or so, I am expecting similar or better times than him.
I dont see that hood on AAR's page, do you know if they still offer it? I will be writing them to find out anyway.
Take care, Scott

Message: Scott,
On AAR's page they have a pic of my Dak when I was using their R/T hood. I got the cowl hood last year and yes, they still sell both models.
8.90s in the 1/8 with a V6 is awesome! Good luck with yours.

Message: I got a 96 sport 318. I know all about trying to find cool stuff for this truck. I got a roll pan and had a cowl hood. Sir Micheals and carhoods.com, Clear tails you will not find! Drop kits yes but not from aim theirs only fit jeeps. yea i know jeeps??? k&n filter no prob. The door panels are easy to redo if you remove the carpet insert and know a little about fiberglass. Interior wise the best thing to do is paint or tweed yourself. There is a chrome guage bezel on ebay for like 12.00 which is desent. ebay also has the gusges thay light up, they say they are for a 96 but they dont work. 96 speedo goes to 110 or 115 thier guages got to 125 so dont waste your money. Rims are a little easier to find since alot of the wheel companies are starting to help us mopar men with our 6x4.5 problem. Any questoins email me at GLENDALE_CUSTOMS@hotmail.com
