Well your best bet is to call around different shops and see who is cheapest, whiplash moved to sac, but thats still not too far. Pepboys does have alot of stuff, but remember, kragen will beat their price by 5%. California off road is ok, at least the guys there know what there talking about, but I personally believe there prices are a bit more than what you can find online, but then they dont have a customer flow like others do (there located on Kansas Ave, west of 9th and east of carpenter on the north side of the road (westbound lane). Then theres Kyles, which is on Yosemite Ave, then theres Northern Tire and Wheel on Kansas north of California off road, but across the street, then theres the major large company's, like Big O Tires and shops like that, which is still a bit more expensive, but they do financing, I usually get one price, call around and see who will beat it!

This is right off the calander of event from Sac Raceway website for March
Sat..30...Drag Strip Test and Tune 10am-3pm
Says nothign about any rice event, and there were very few ricers there. Mostly bigger guys like pro-stock, street eliminator, and stock elimiator. Also a few funny cars, and about 7-8 top fuel dragsters. Busy day, and mostly American Muscle there!!!

If its parts your looking for, you may have to travel. Sacramento doesnt have tons of places but the ones they have are pretty good. As far as 4x4 shops, Central 4Wheel drive and 4 Wheel Parts Wholesale seem to be the best and the second one will beat ANY parice. Tognottis is still in business but they mostly cater to the hot rod and import guys but they are a nitros oxide filling station if you need it.

Well I actually went over to California Off-Road here in modesto just now, and I take back what I said about prices I guess, they seem to be in the cheaper range now that I went and talked to them,
