Message: I checked my mileage against the mpg computer (4
wks old, 900 miles on the odo) and got very close
correlation. Mpg 'puter said 15.6 and I calculated
15.3 . Pretty close.

Message: The new dakotas have MPG computers? Wow, i thought they stopped that in the late '80s. I had a lebaron with one of those in there and ever since I got rid of that car I missed it. Damn i want to get a car with one of those things again..

Message: The computer on my 2001 qc read 17.5 after the first tank, but based on gallons consumed, was about 15.5. Haven't gone in for 2nd tank yet, but hope that the higher (computer) number is accurate.

Message: I have about 7k on my 2001 quad and the milage computer is getting farther off with more miles. The DTE says zero miles to end but the tank will only take 15 gallons. Is there a way to reset, or calibrate the unit ? Where does the signal for this info come from, the main computer?
