Message: Yeah they crack from the heat they are all plastic even the lenses!!!
Many dealers will warranty them but mine would not even when i showed them posts frrom this site showing the widespread problem. They said it was road debris even though there were no origin marks or spider cracks just continious heat/stress cracks.
If you cannot get the dealer to replace them try ebay

Message: I replaced mine with some Blazer tech ones from crappy tire. I have the original set in my garage with less than a year on them. I'm in Toronto if you need them.

Message: went to the dealership today to have my oil changed, and told them about the lamp, and they replaced it under warrenty, no questions asked. Wahoo!

Message: If they don't want to replacer them, come back later with them in your hand, walk to a salesman trying to make a sale, give them to him in front of a prospective customer, tell him you bought some elsewhere since they didn't want to honor the warranty and walk away.
