hey well my engine light has been comin on and i havent taken it get service. how much longer can i go without. bringin it there, i have to go florida this wekend. do u thinkill mak it.? also i have glass pact for exhaust which suck, and im thinkin abbout putin dynomax 3/1/2 pipes on each side. do u think that would sound better. please reply and tel me what u think. thanks...

Turn your key to 'on' then 'off' twice in a row (on = forward without starting), then turn it back to 'on'. You should see a P#### code which will tell you what problem was found. You can lookup the information about this code online at the DML (www.dakota-truck.net) or else call your dealership and ask them to lookup the error code.
