Dues payer funds are used collect and investigate IP numbers of posers, report offenses to internet service providers and ban people with IQ's one notch up from an ant from posting in this forum. Does that help?

I love when people make fun of another's grammar, punctuation, and spelling on the internet.
You will find, that very post ridiculing the other's English, is also full of common mistakes; unless you are a professional copyeditor and practice it in your everyday life, to the full extent -- got your own style sheet? -- you sound dumber than them.
Not to pick on your or anything, but sometimes it's best to leave them with their own way of speaking (typing?). I mean, if they want more people to read what they say and to help them; They will learn to communicate better on their own initiative.

Of course, we could always learn to spell AND type. Then the posts would become more fluid and prevent 'bumps' in the reading. Wouldn't that be nice...you're typing along and since you know how to spell even the most remedial words, you end up typing them correctly in the post. Then the bickering would stop and less Advil would be consumed. Strange concept, I know. ;)

Bottom line, Dakota657, it is up to you; the membership benefits are listed on the main page.
My justifications in joining were (in no particular order):
1.) I waste way more than $30--in a single month--on things I could live without.
2.) I have magazine subscriptions equivalent with this forum's membership fee. And in my opinion, I've gotten more sound advice & good ideas from this forum than just about any magazine subscription. (I've also spent WAAAAAYYYYYYYY more money because of this, but we won't go there!! hehe)
3.) Membership gives you a "face" on the forum. Instead of just being an anonymous login, you can post a thumbnail & profile for people to look at.
4.) It provides access to the Members Only forums which, while not as active, are filled with true enthusiasts that can and will provide much more in-depth knowledge & advice. In essence, a higher level of "support" for you & your Dak.
Just my two cents...or was that more like a nickle's worth?!? 8^)
