why did you have a dakot to begin with? if you wanted a fast car you shoulda bought a trans am to start with. if you needed a truck you are not gonna be very happy with a car.

I have both a Dak and a Firebird Formula. Love them both. Mike knock yourself out and get a new T/A (Ram Air?). True it's a lot more power. Kevster, the insurance really isn't all that bad for me. I guess that all depends on your locale, your age, miles driven, if you're married, prior driving record etc. As far as seeing the pretty tailgate of your Dak, well let's put it this way, whatever mods you have on your truck, mods can be applied to the T/A and guess what, the T/A has the aerodynamic, cornering (they handle like a dream) and weight advantage (though they are knd of heavy for a sports car). They make Flowmasters for the T/A too. ;-)
P.S. Don't get me wrong, I love my Dak and am actually selling my Formula. Can get way more use out of the Dak.
