Sorry Guys,

I realize this subject has been "beat to death" according to the archives but I have some questions (I guess I'm dense) and I hope you can help.
Unlike most of the people who post when there's a brake pad/rotor question, I don't seem to have their problems. I have a 1998 DAK with 51,000 miles on the original rotors and pads. The rotors have never been turned down. At my last oil change (48,000 miles) the dealer said the pads were getting a little worn and that they would need to be replaced. After the warranty period was up. I usually have my work done by a friend who has an auto repair business but he got jammed up and couldn't do my last oil change. Anyway, to my question:

I want to keep my original rotors (if they're still in good condition) and I want to install Raybestos brand pads, What one would you recommend? SuperStop, BruteStop or QuietStop?
Driving habits are 50% highway & 50% city

Thanks for your help and sorry for the ponderous post.

I put the quiet pads on my 99 dak 5.2 4x4 about a month ago. They tend to get hot fast and I can defenitly smell them when i'm "on and off" my brakes a lot in city driving. I'm not sure though if it's the pads themselves that are getting hot or it's that my calipers are going bad. I got 75k on my truck. I lubbed the calipers up real well and everything so I'm not sure. But they stop well and are quiet.
