Message: I just got back a few hours ago from there. I had JBA Headers, Autolite's, and a Flowmetrics Throttle body put in...Bernd and Tom, you guys rock the Casbah! On the way home, I could definitely feel the new ponies. Anyways, if you are ever in the Austin, TX area look these doods up cause they are 2 of the coolest Mofo's I have met.

Message: Thanks Dan! I would have had an underdrive pulley put in, but you need a Harmonic Balancer puller specifically for dodges...and Bernd did not have it, but I will hopefully go back in a couple of weeks, and have it put on. My engine mods that I want for now are almost complete, then it is on to suspension and a roll pan and tires. then VIOLA!! hehe

Message: In about 300-500 miles, check the header bolts and make sure that they're all snug. (Standard practice with new headers.)
Tool on order and will get the 1.7's ready for you when you decide to come back down.

Message: Just "snug" them. They probably are ok as I checked them after they were sitting for a bit (and after the "traditional" startup). You shouldn't have to put a lot of pressure on them...just make sure that they're not loose.

What brands of 1.7's do you sell. I've been looking at getting the Stainless Steel Comp cam ones with guides and pushrods for my 98 318.
Could you post a price on the brand you carry or shoot me an email.
Thanks,
