 Subject: A/C Compressor

Can anyone tell me what may be wrong if, when the dash panel is set to A/C, the compressor does not engage? The compressor is locked up when set on A/C and will not turn. Is this due to low refrigerant, low pressure cutoff switch, or anything else? Please let me konw if you have had this type of problem. Thanks

Yes and yes. could be lots of things in the wiring or anything like that. Get it checked to see if it has propor pressure in it.
