I believe the first year, it'll be available only in the 2500 series. Following that, it'll be in the 1500's. I also read somewhere (unless I am totally screwed up here) - the Hemi has 16 spark plugs (2/each cylinder). Can anyone confirm/deny that? - Jim

Yes that is true,16 sparkplugs and it will also be available in the new Dakota in the spring of 03.320HP...look out

I believe it will be available in the Dakota but no way in the spring of 2003. They will still have the same body on the Dakota in 2003, and you won't see the redesign until 2004. Then it will probably not need a performance version in the first year of a redesign to help awareness, so a hemi R/T or SRT, whatever, probably won't show up until 2005. And thats if DC doesn't decide to pull the plug on the whole deal as they did with things like the 250 HP Caravan motor, which had the green light up until about 3 months from production.

From what i heard the 04 Dakota will be released in the spring of 03 as a 04 model, but either way it will be available with the 5.7...cant wait
