Just got my 98 dak. back from the dealership, 86,000mi, check engine light came on and was runing rough. Plugged up on it and got a 304 code repeated from pcm.-misfire#4. still uder warantee I brought it back for free repairs minus the $100. deduct. they repaced the #4 intake vlv. said it was bent and shaved the head. got it back everthig seems to be o/k now except: after cold start-up i got a tapping from lower end at idle that goes away after about 10 sec. And after the motor warmes up and about 10-15 min of driving there seems to be a slight tapping from the vlv. train. (top) oil press is 30-35 at idle and 45+ over 1K , are the lifters worn? caus I don't think the rockers are the adjustable typ. so that rules out the guy who put it all back.any comments or sugestions would be appreciated.
"98" dakota Rc open air filter(cone), Mr.G.crankcase breather, accel super coil,8mm wires, HP brass cont.cap and rotor(all for gas milage)
