Does anyone know for certain if the factory CD from a Ram will fit my dak?

it should tho Cuz i took mine out of my Dak and put it into my dad's Voyager van.. Fit like a glove.
Why not pick up a cheep one from future shop and put that in instead? Crappy tire has the faceplace conversion kit as well as a plug in wireing harness....

Yes just don't pick a new one. I think 2002s are different. But I don't think the infinity one will work properly.

Thanks guys. I don't have a CD in my dak... and there was a guy selling one REALLY cheap on another board. I think someone beat me to it anyway. I guess I will just wait until I can afford a good one.

I bought a Blaupunkt RPD555 am/fm CD from SoundDomain.com for $99 (4x50 = 200 watts) and it cranks with the stock speakers. I ordered a Schoche (sp ?) mount and a wiring harness for $5 each and paid a shop $55 to put it in only because I was too much of a wimp to do it outside in the cold. My friend bought a system at a stereo shop for about $800+ for his Impala SS and it doesn't sound as good. No exageration!

the ebay route, but you can't beat that price.
That's great CW, I think you'll be happy with the
way they look, I sure am. Yours is a new dak, so
you probably won't run into the problem I did. The
smallest corner bulb housing on mine had 4 tabs,
and the new clear lens opening had openings for
two. I took a pair of nippers and clipped off the
extra ones and it fit per
