Hello I have a 98 Dodge dakota that has a high pitched squaling noise comming from the front drivers side. This noise pops up if I go above 35mph. It does it both in gear and if I pop it out of gear. Does it in both 2wd and 4wd. Could this be a wheel bearing? I have a warrenty but I would like to know what it is I am dealing with. It sounds like it is comming from the left front wheel but I canot be certain.

Yes, it could be your bearings, but on a 98? kinda weird it would do that only 4 years old. Its possible though. And i'm sure that the guys in the service department would tell ya what was wrong when you bring it in for warannty work.
