So I'm visiting my family in Seattle, and by brother in law has to go in to the dealer to get his windshield fixed... So I start talking to the Dodge dealer about Dakotas. He says he's got a 4.7 making 485 HP and 465 Ft-lbs of torque. I say wow! (not trying to sound too sarcastic) how do you that, nitros, turbo, blower? No, he says he used to own a speed shop and put in a special "cam", chrome dipstick, carbon fiber valve covers (actually I'm making this stuff up, because he really only said cams, pistons, and a stroker kit, which is just as unbelieable). So watch out Seattle area cause there is fast 4.7 up there somewhere! Ha, Ha! I wonder how these retards think thiss will actually help sell trucks? I then told him I had a 2000 R/T and know a little about it, I said he would have the fastest 4.7 in the world. He then lead me over to a stock 4.7 that he said would "smoke" my R/T. I only wish I had my R/T and not the minvan. I told him I had a few mods but he said this stock 4.7, 5-speed would take it. Yeh right! Maybe without any mods to my truck, and if the 4.7 he showed me didn't have the 3.55 gears and no limited slip, and the small 15" tires! Worse thing when I asked him what the best deal they could make on it he said $19,000 which is $1000 more then the R/T I had ordered! (both were 2001s). I have never met such a cocky while clueless salesman in my life. Maybe I need to get out more, sure makes me appreciate the honest, knowledgeable dealers in our area.

C'mon Bernd where are the pics of the k and n shop vac? My Rigid vac is 6.25 hp peak. I bet with the k and n I could make 7 hp!!
Idea!!! the vac is also a 200 mph blower. If i wired it to my battery and ran a hose to the air hat, I could have a real cheap turbo or super charger!!!! No wait, I could use the air compessor and get 120 psi and blow up my engine! hehehe

Might be 120psi, but my paintgun shoots at 280 psi, still has to have enough air. Search Google and see what happens...

Hehehehe...i'm taking pics this AM of the shop-blower. ;)
On the electric blower, I ran a "Super eRam" for quite some time and it made 1psi boost on the old Autometer Boost Gauge...each eRam puts out 750cfm as well. They do work but are a bit too expensive as compared to a real supercharger.
