Subject: New Dak owner here... IP: Logged
Message: OMG, do I love this truck. I have been looking @ 2002 Dodge 1/2 tons for a month or so with no luck finding one to fit in my monthly budget.
Well 2 weeks ago I am looking at another dealer for 1/2 tons and I see this 2000 QC 4.7 4x4 staring right at me. I have not paid to much attention to these on the highway, but this one caught my eye. After completly checking it over, I fell in love with the room inside and the options installed. This would be great for my family of four.
Then I asked to test drive it. After starting it, I was thinking 'Oh yea'. Then I pulled it out of the lot and gassed it down the street. Now I am thinking 'Woohoo'. After the test drive, I had to have this truck. After hours of negotiation, my 2000 Dak was home.
Here is a little info on my new baby -
2000 QC 4.7 4x4 SLT Plus, 23,000 miles
Automatic Trans
Exterior- Light Driftwood Satin Glow (Blueish Light Grey?)
Interior- Agate (Dark Grey)
All power options
Heavy Duty Service Group
15x8.0 aluminum wheels
31x10.5R15 Goodyears
3.92 Diff, Anti-Spin
6x9 mirrors ( I love these things)
Factory Stereo w/cd and steering wheel mounted controls.
ect, ect,ect...
I am looking forward to doing some minor power mods in the future.
I stumbled upon this site seaching for info on my new truck, and am glad I did. Looking forward to gaining more knowledge about my Dak.
My truck has already been off-road twice.:-) I will try to get some pix posted someday.
Thanks for listening, Kurt T.
