I have a 2002 4.7 and installed the 360 air intake today. I had the Airaid system.
The thing I noticed is that the pipe is barely the same size as the ID of the throttle body and the rubber coupling was super tight to get over the throttle body. It seems the kit is for the 65mm TB. Anyone else w/the 360 air intakez give me some answers on their fit with either TB.

I have a "00 with the 65mm. It was a tight fit getting it on the 65 as well. I'm wanting to upgrade to a 68mm TB here soon and it's good to know that the 360 coupling will fit. Was it that much of a pain?

It was real tight but it will go on. The thing that bothers me is that if they are going to build one it should be the same size of the TB even if they just swedge the end to make it larger. And as in the original post, the pipe is barely larger than the TB inside diameter.

That rubber peice IS tight. I just dropped mine into a pot of boiling water for about 30 seconds. It warmed it up just enough to stretch it over the TB.

i was just about to order a 360 intake. i got a 00 4.7 auto. Is this a good quality product? cuz i was reading on the site about how the guy makes them in his garage. I just wanted to make sure b4 i got one. O yeah, also how much of a difference power wise did it make.... thanx in advance
