Message: Sounds like a axle seal. They are bad for leaking on the 4x4s. Time for a new one.

Message: If you don't have a press it is best left to someone who does. You have to take the CV axle out and there are 4 little bolts on the axle housing just behind the axle flange right at the seal where it is leaking. Pull the four bolts and the axle pops out. But there is a bearing pressed on to the axle shft that has to come off before the seal can come off. One the bering is off change the seal and press the bearing on again.

Message: If it isn't leaking very bad just keep a eye on the level and you will be fine. Any average car shop will have a press.
