I need a new set of tires on my 2001 Quad cab Dakota. 2 wheel LSD drive truck. I Drive a lot of hiway miles. I got 46K out of the goodyears but I am thinking about getting the Michlem LTX. size is also a ? 255-70-16 or 265-70-16 any body have these on your truck? Any better sugestion?

I have those on my 98 5.2 SLT 2wd..love them, great tires, got tons of miles on them..if they wear out, I will buy them again.

I have the LTX's on my good wheels, and I am very pleased with them. Much better than the Good Years.

You'll love them. They're worth the premium price. They're great in snow and ice, ride smooth and quiet, will give you lots of mileage, and are also not bad on dirt roads. I've no experience with them "off-road" so I can't comment there. BUY THEM!
