i used to have a 2000 dak and because of finacial reasons had to trade it for a 96, i miss all the bells and whistles of my y2k , i was wondering if i were to find a donor car and use the seats out of a 2k dak and put it im my 96 would it fit? also i want the over head console too , how does that go in?? i would imagine with a little engineering anything will fit but i dont want to hack up my truck either..

Well I have A 95 & I put 99 seats in it but it was hard !!! they fit fine lenght wise but your floor board where the seat mounts in the front is up in the middle (if you know what I mean)&the seat in the 2000 is even all the way across(the bolt holes on the front... unless you are going to put a bench seat back in it. The good news is you can make it fit with little hacking. you will just have to drill some holes for the back bolts & make some little brackets for the outer front bolts. hope this helps. mine turned out great I rides so much better.
