Subject: Selling Dakota for Ram IP: Logged
Message: Being my parents actually own my Dakota, they decide if they want to sell it or not. So, they probabily will because my mom would like a PT Cruiser again (had one last year then sold it). In return I probabily be getting a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 2X4. It is a red club cab with the 8ft. bed, and has a 318 auto (OD), air, tilt, cruise, ps, pb, no power windows or door locks, and has a Lind lighted visor, Lund Razorback, ventshades, and a bug guard, I think it is an ST, and it has 138000KM on it. The transmission was replaced after the previous owner traded it in (used to pull 5th wheel) so the tranny has about 10KM on it, it looks pretty nice and the Razorback thingee makes it look alot shorter. This truck will be my own where my previous Dakotas were not.
If anybody knows of a good webpage for Rams, please respond.
If anybody knows of any common problems in these trucks please respond.
Thanks

Message: You should have stayed with the Dakota. Rams have
tons of problems, especially the older ones.
Good luck with the vehicle if you go with it. Buyer
beware!

Message: You mom's pretty smart playing the PT market like that, they were going for way to much last year. Everybody knew they were going to build more PT cruisers then Subie Outbacks, why did they think they would continue to bring those high prices? They www.dodgeram.org for a bunch of good Ram info. It is a lot better to have your own car, my parents always had decient cars growing up but still my $100 to $1000 cars were at least all mine, and still pretty cool (68 Satellite convertable, 71 Sebring, and 70 Chevelle).
