Message: I've seen this issue on here several times and don't know if anyone has posted a fix but, here's mine. This relates to the downshift from 2nd to 1st and getting that rearend tap feeling. I took my 7800 mile 2001 5.9L QC to a 5 star and they replaced the transduce-pressure sensor, the transmission gov solenoid, a gasket and the fluid. It rides like new. I've put another 1K on it and no problems at all. Hope this helps someone.
