I would have to say YES! I had the MSD 6a with blaster coil and capacator (to reduce engine noise) in my dak for about four years. Money well spent. At the time, the ignition was $160. It may be slightly higher now. I haven't made many mods to it besides that. I have a 14X4" open element K&N. I wouldnt suggest one that high though because it forced me to put a hood scoop on. I also had a dual exhaust custom fabricated which sounds and works great. The guy who was making it said there may be a problem with installing true duals because there is one O2 sensor which is now only attached to the left side. I havent noticed any problems. More recently I added Autolite 3923's to reduce ping. They work great too.

take the plug wire boots off of the plugs one at a time while removing the plugs otherwise you will not remember what the firing order is, use a spark plug socket and just untighten them counter clock wise and then remove, it is the reversal to install, but when you are installing them make sure to gap the plug to the vehicle specification listed in your manual or the sticker on the underside of your hood on the sticker that say's catalyst you also need to apply spark plug grease to the ends of the spark plugs before you attach the wire to the plug.

JOE T >> With the MSD you can gap your plugs 10 over without giving it a thought > In fact if it was mine I would go no less then 15 over factory > Been at this for lots a years > Your engine will idle smother and run better plus you my well pick up 1 or 2 MPG depending how heavy your foot is > MSD has a tendacy to eat rotors, caps and plugs faster > auto light plugs have the hardest metal of all the steel plugs so life is a bit better > Champions are the softest and last a shorter time but they are actually the better plug > Myself I run champion truck plugs > They hold up well and are guarenteed >
