Message: Hi Folks, I have a general idea how to adjust the freeplay on my Dak (98, 4x4, club), ie the the adjustment screw on top of the steering box. Mine has what seems like excessive play (1/4 to 1/2" play if i measure at the edge of the steering wheel... seems like its more than it used to be anyway). My question is, should I attempt this adjustment?, is it a DIY job or "Experts Only"?, i've heard conflicitng stories about how hard this is to get right. Any help is appreciated.
