LOL.. I was looking at some of the mods people have made, where they have pictures on their websites of their home brew intakes, or blah blah this, or blah blah that... and realized, you know our neighbors prolly see us doing this... on a regular basis... I wonder what they are thinking whenever we're taking pictures of things under the hood, or our suspension... I'm sorry, I had a few beers.. I think everything is funny right now... ok, back to homework... *sigh*

Know what you mean. Got the strangest look from a neighbor as I emerged from under my truck this afternoon while taking pics of my new tow hook brackets. All this guy could see were legs hanging out with flash after flash coming from underneath the truck. Guess I will just continue to amuze my neighbors with my antics. There are worse things I could be taking pictures of I guess ;o)

My neighbors can't stand me... I have a Mustang with long-tube headers, off-road H-pipe, & 40 series Flows. The Dakota has a dumped Flowmaster... Every one of my buddies in the Mustang Club come over in their rides sometimes for cook-outs... So.... When they see me working on one of them or taking pics of them, I see them peeking out the blinds shaking their heads....I try not to be loud when I leave in the mornings, and I tell my buddies not to be loud when they leave, but sometime, I'd like to have a mass burnout contest in the road in front of the house.
DARN KIDS... DARN OLD FARTS...
They'll get over it.

at my moms house we all had aftermarket exhausts for our six cars... a neighbor called the police and the police said they can't do anything about it. after my mom heard about that from another neighbor she suggested that we go to the top of the street and do burnouts... how many of you wish you had a mom like that?

My neigbor always askes me how my truck is doing. When installing mytraction bars we found out that between us we have enough air line to reach from his house to my garage. Guess i'm just lucky.

My neighbor hates me. Always telling me to cut my grass. One day I threw $20 at him and told him to cut it if it was bothering him soo much...I work 40-50 hours a week and go to school full-time, no time for that "Lawn Maintainance" crap. That's what neighborhood kids are for...hehe

I have a 40 Series with 3 inch tailpipe on my 4.7.
My mom has a 50 Series with 3 inch tp on her 5.9L.
The early mornings are a great thing, two deep rumbles. The neighbors ( my best friends parents) tell me they wake up whenever i leave.
Then every friend has exhaust so my street ends up being a loop for hot laps. You know, take my truck around the block I wanna hear the exhaust. So at 5 grand doing multiple laps a day, lets just say they are less than happy.

I always wonder what people think when they see me working on my truck every weekend. They probably thing that dodges break down all the time, when really, i'm making an already great truck, better. They probably think im crazy. Out side, reving my engine, taking pictures, and working on it in the snow. Ah... the things we do for our trucks...

i miss my shelby... 275+ hp and just a straight 2.5" exhaust tube going to the side... no cat or muff. when i would leave my girlfriend's house i would leave it in 1st gear... yeah, i was an @ss.

lol.. at first I was feeling pretty dumb for doing it, but now that you all spoke out.. I dont feel so bad... and you know, EVERY time I park I turn the wheels all the way to the side to show off the rims... I dunno, it never gets old... neither does leaving rubber marks at just about every red light... anyway...

My neighbors think I'm looney as well, taking pictures of odd parts of the truck now and then.
But I actually feel bad for my parent's neighbors...my brother, sister-in-law, and my parents live right next door to each other. My brother, sister-in-law, and dad all drive Dodge Ram 4X4's with the Cummins diesel. Sounds like a friggin truck stop in the morning!

Yeah, the neighbors must also think I'm crazy. It's 28 here in NJ and I was out in gym shorts & a tee shirt snapping pics of my seat covers, LOL.
I look back every morning when I leave it in the parking lot at work and I have to drive by in my Freightliner on the way out of the yard so I glance at it again, I don't realize that I'm looking either, pretty bad;)

Heh heh ... I was at a burger joint yesterday with my brother sitting across from me, and he said "You're worse than Dad!" I was leaning out of the booth and looking at it periodically.
Almost any time I park it anywhere but work or home, I get out, arm the alarm and look back while walking away to whisper "Stay!" So far I haven't caught him chasing any sports cars without me inside... :-)
