It is freaking snowing outside...I thought we were done with all of this snow crap!! 3 days ago it was 70 degrees, now it is below freezing and snowing...Gotta love Texas...

yep....i live pretty close to you and had to drive my girlfriend to work at 6:30 this morning.
there was a inch of sleet and snow covering the streets!

Hmm, I feel for you guys, I really do... my driver's side window was frozen shut yesterday, and the other night leaving work late, I had to pull over and let my window defrost so I could see. This has been the easiest winter ever - last year we had a blizzard during the day, and the snow was up to my bumpers, I had to get six of the press guys at work to push start me in the parking lot!

Thanks for the sarcastic sympathy lesley...hehe :) . But you see, In Texas we are used to the winter being over by now and the rainy season (all of about 2-3 weeks) is supposed to be here. Instead, we get ice, snow and 40 mph wind gusts...ugh

Hi Ya'll,
I got home last nite at 10pm, went to my son's wedding in Houston. I knew it cold but damnnnn.
I got up this morning and the fields are white from snow and ice, 15 degrees...brrrr.
That front was something else, winds were very high, I only managed 13 mpg, normally about 18 -19 freeway.
Oh, I live in Azle, TX, bout 20 miles west of FW

I'm in Dallas but I used to live up in N. Texas and I'm used to the 20-30mph wind gusts cuz they'd pretty much be there every freakin day. Its nice...reminds me of home. :)

Well, it was warm enough this morning that I went out without a jacket, just a heavy wool sweater. Now it is gusting, and there is sleet, and the temp has dropped to -10. Who wants snow? You can have my share! :)
