Subject: A little squeek IP: Logged
Message: My new quadcab has a little chassie squeek. Seems to be coming from the driver's door. I can't tell where it is coming from, but it occurs with small bumbs in the road. squeek, squeek.
Anybody experienced this and know what to do? I don't like my dealer so I would rather fix it myself.

Message: I had a little squeek in my '97 dak.
I was getting 2 squeeks, one from hitting
the bumps with the front tires and then
again with the back ones. Sounded like it was
coming from inside the cab.
Turned out to be my tailgate need a little
oil. Shot some WD-40 on the latches and that
stopped it. Yours maybe similiar, spray your
doors, or tailgate, or get some of that graphite grease and see if that helps.

Message: I hear a little squeek every now and then. At first I thought it was my door two but it turned out to be the top of the driver side seatbelt. Haven't fixed it yet though. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to non crucial stuff.

Message: I have the same noise. 00 QC 4X4.....I think its coming from the bed. Maybe some wd40 on all the bolts that hold the bed to the truck may help. I too am lazy and haven't fixed it yet. Is annoying as hell though. Just my 2 cents.
