well i work in a tireshop, and brigestone deceded to give some of us a chance to actually see for our selvs how their tires performed.
they set up a road course in a empty parking lot, with some orange cones, gave us the keys to 3 2001 BMW 325i's with the following tires RE92's, RE930i's, and RE730's
we got to drive each car on the dry pavement, then they wet down the track and let us do it all over agan.
on my 1st lap, i over drove the car a little too much, and 360'd it off the course (oops) i guess i thought the "ultimate driving machine" should have handled a little better. well at least i wasnt the only one ;-)
you can REALLY tell the differance between the H-ratted tires and the Z-ratted tires
the funniest part of the whole thing is that bridgestone leased the beemers for 3 years and then they give them back with 36000 miles of pure abuse!
