Message: I just got a tip on another board. Apperantly they sell sheets of gasket material at home depot in differnt thicknesses. I suppose you could just cut one to fit and slap it on there. they suggest using rtv to make the gasket stick, is that a good idea?

Message: There is no gasket at the Y-pipe to manifold. Don't bother making one because it will just about guarantee a leak then.
